It was a beautiful South Florida day to enjoy the Jupiter Seafood Fest. The white clouds in the sky gave a bit of respite from the blazing hot sun which sent the temperature soaring to 84 degrees.

Early as we Arrived at the Fest

We arrived at the fest early to enjoy some time wandering around the displays and exhibitors before the crushing crowds arrived. It was an great fun.
The seafood options were diverse as were the shopping options. There was music at the main stage that entertained us during the early afternoon while sitting in the shade. The Bryant Thomas Band was fun to watch. I have to admit, I have never before seen a trombone take the lead in a rock/country band. It was inspiring and fun to watch. While we enjoyed the music, we also were keeping tabs on the Orioles Spring Training game against the Pirates which eventually got out of control resulting in an 8-2 loss. But, here is a clip of the trombone from the band.

The variety of exhibitors was great. I always like to visit with them. We also enjoyed some of the food and drink! Although I usually opt for ribs at an event like this, I had a Poke Bowl and therefore actually enjoyed some seafood.
I like this event because although there is an admission charge, parking is free and easy. Last week, the parking for ArtiFest cost as much as an admission ticket. Go figure.
